The global gambling market can be divided into online gambling and off-line
gambling. Online gambling is primarily carried out over the Internet, but also

Unibet has taken another step in its expansion by entering the global gaming B2B
market. Kambi Sports Solutions is a business area within Unibet which offers the

Unibet has its roots in sports betting and has identified a business opportunity
in leveraging the existing
Sportsbook infrastructure through offering its core competence as a service to
third parties. A potential future revenue upside is complemented by the ability
to share increasing Sportsbook maintenance and development costs, which have
been accelerated by the rapid growth in and commitment to market leadership in
live betting as well as the changing regulatory environment. Unibet’s commitment
to the global sports betting B2B market was officially presented in February
2010 when the first customer, the Ålandic gaming company Paf, signed a B2B
sports book contract.
Unibet has appointed SEB Enskilda and Cederquist as its advisors to undertake an
evaluation of how to structure the Unibet B2B business in order to protect the
integrity of the B2B clients and maximise the shareholder value for Unibet
shareholders. The first step has been to form a new business area called Kambi
Sports Solutions where all sportsbook B2B services are compiled.
Kambi supplies their Sportsbook and Pool betting products to a number of gaming
operators. The Sportsbook product includes Pre-match betting, Live-betting, odds
compiling and risk management. Also the Pool betting products includes a great
service as Kambi does all back office work including setting up and correcting
coupon. The e-Gaming Review has awarded the Kambi´s Sportsbook with the prize
“European Sports betting operator of the year” in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
Unibet’s other products consists of poker and 250 different online casino
products including table games such as Roulette, Black Jack, Caribbean Stud and
Baccarat and a scratch card.
Casino
Unibet’s online casino consists of 250 different products, including Roulette,
Black Jack, Caribbean Stud Poker and Keno, as well as video poker and slot
machines. The casino also organises tournaments in the various games.
The activity on casino games is relatively stable over the year, which helps to
smooth out the volatility in Unibet’s gross margin and the seasonal effect on
turnover of sports betting.
It can be argued that casino players are more susceptible to compulsive gambling
and therefore, Unibet has introduced personal safety measures for customers.
Customers can, for example, set a personal limit or request to have their
account barred for online casino products for a certain period of time.
Introducing the live dealer casino in 2009 gave Unibet the opportunity to target
a new audience of customers that prefer the real experience compared to the
flash casino games. The live dealer casino has exceeded expectation in 2010 and
contributes substantially to the casino revenue.
Poker
Online poker was launched in September 2004 and has been successful. One of the
key means of teaching customers how to play poker is the Poker School. Customers

The Unibet poker product is unique and includes other games such as Casino and
Live Sports Betting. Special tournaments, VIP scores and Bad Beat Jackpots are
some of the key features used to increase the entertainment value for Unibet’s

markets. Scratch cards are a strong product in many of Unibet’s key markets.
Scratch cards complement the other Unibet products as they don’t require any

Soft games
Unibet Games was launched in December 2005 and consists out of sport orientated
games and entertainment games. The games are a softer version of the casino and
rides on the popularity of lottery- and keno-based games, virtual sports and
high/low games. The sport games are Virtual Horse Racing, Goalkeeper Champion
and Boxing Champion; the entertainment games are High Low Extreme, Risk It! and
Poker Dice.
Bingo
In August Unibet’s non-sports betting offering expanded with multiplayer Bingo.
Unibet offers the 75-ball type Bingo together with a range of casino games
attached to it. These casino games consist of multi-reel video slots, multi-hand
video poker, black jack and roulette.
For now Bingo is only available to Swedish customers who can enter the Bingo
room, buy tickets to participate in the game and join the in-game chat room.
